Sand-surfaced/PP Slip-resistant Fibreglass-reinforced Asphalt Waterproofing Membrane
Sand-surfaced or PP slip-resistant, fibreglass-reinforced asphalt (SBS) waterproofing membranes are heavy-duty, multi-layered barriers used primarily for foundational walls, terraces, and low-slope roofs. The fibreglass core provides high dimensional stability and tear resistance, while the sand finish protects the compound during storage and provides excellent slip resistance. It acts as an ideal bonding layer for hot asphalt, cold adhesives, or mortar applications. The internal fibreglass reinforcement prevents the membrane from stretching, shrinking, or deforming under thermal stress or tension. The robust fibreglass mat resists tearing from foot traffic, metal tile edge, screws, and wind uplift.
Aluminium Foil Asphalt Self-Adhered Waterproofing Underlayment
- Exceptional Heat Reflection: The aluminum foil layer acts as a radiant barrier, reflecting up to 97% of radiant heat away from the roof deck. This significantly lowers attic temperatures and cooling costs, particularly in hot climates.
- Superior Waterproofing: The asphalt/bitumen component acts as a rugged, secondary water-resistant barrier. The peel-and-stick backing seals tightly around roof fasteners and nails, preventing wind-driven rain or ice dams from causing water damage.
- Thermal Stability: Engineered for high-heat environments, often found under metal roofing, high-quality membranes remain flexible in the cold and stable in the extreme heat without cracking, shrinking, or bleeding.
- Condensation and Vapor Control: It functions as a vapor barrier, stopping warm indoor air from reaching the colder roof deck, which helps prevent rot, mold, and structural degradation.
- Noise Reduction: The dense asphalt and metallic composite helps dampen external noises, minimizing the sound of heavy rain or hail striking the roof.
S.C.M. Flexible Waterproofing Membrane
S.C.M. flexible waterproof membrane is suitable for waterproofing indoor bathrooms, shower, laundry room and kitchens. This membrane is made from a polymer film containing EVAC, extruded onto polyester fibers for optimal adhesion with C2 S1/S2 cement-based adhesives when installed as an adhesive membrane. Joints and seals can be applied using hot air welding or SEAL PLUS adhesive. Storage: Store in the original unopened packaging, protect from moisture, in a properly ventilated room at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Protect from direct exposure to light.
S.C.M. Waterproof Tape
- Convenient and Efficient Installation: The self-adhesive backing eliminates the need for torches, hot asphalt, or extensive additional glues, making installation cleaner, safer, and significantly faster.
- Low-Temperature Application: It can be applied at ambient temperatures as low as -10°C (14°F), allowing construction projects to proceed during winter seasons or in colder climates without delaying the schedule.
- Excellent Adhesion and Sealing Performance: It forms a strong, reliable bond with common building substrates including concrete, OSB, plywood, gypsum board, and brick.
- Self-Sealing and Nail Sealability: The SBS modified bitumen compound provides outstanding self-healing properties, automatically sealing tightly around fasteners or nails to help prevent water or air leakage.
